I became a therapist because everyone deserves to be heard. Life has taught me that not everyone comes from a loving, caring environment, and I wanted to create a space where those people have a place to land.
My style is laid back and comforting. I don’t walk into the room with one set approach. I meet you with what you need that day, drawing on CBT, person-centered, integrative, and multicultural approaches.
Your first session
You can expect a kind, empathetic ear. Our first session is simply about listening: getting to know you and what brought you in.
Who I work best with
I don’t have an “ideal client.” I’ll work with whoever needs me. I see teens, adults, and elders, individually and as couples and families, and I’m glad to support LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients. Much of my work focuses on trauma, major life transitions, depression and anxiety, and personal growth and self-esteem.

Approaches I use
Outside the office
I’m a fan of the Tennessee Vols and the Titans, and I walk for both relaxation and exercise. I served in the U.S. Navy and played sports competitively through the collegiate level.
